Q: You say you offer "secure server" for credit card security. What does that mean and how does it work?
A: This is how our shopping cart provider answers this question. "The goal of Americart security is to achieve one thing: Deliver credit card information from the customer to the merchant with the minimum possibility of exposure to prying eyes. Our primary tool for this is the utilization of secure data encryption. We encrypt the information between the customer and the cart, and then you retrieve credit card information the same way. Although orders are emailed to you in the clear, we strip off the last six digits of the credit card number, which you then retrieve through your secure browser, thus completing the secure path".
Q: Can I come visit
your store?
Many customers have asked to visit our store, which is open by
appointment only. If you plan to be in the area, please call
in advance to make sure that we are going to be in. We normally are
in from 9 A.M. to 4 P.M. Monday through Friday but sometimes find it
necessary to be away for one reason or another. We cannot guarantee
that we will be at the office without notification from you. You will
save yourself much time by calling first.

something?
All returnable items (see below) must be in saleable condition
and returned within fifteen days of purchase along with the original
invoice. You will be given a store credit only minus any

Q: What are Quintin Publication's guidelines for printing/publishing my genealogical book?
Quintin Publications will either print your book or publish your book. See next question for details.
Q: What kinds of books will Quintin Publications publish free of charge to the author?
Generally, books that fall into this category are books that have high sales appeal: e.g. how-to, reference, one-name genealogies; lists of marriages, baptisms, burials, census records and the like. For books that fall into this category we will bear the entire cost of book production, warehousing, and distribution. This is done under our basic author's contract which provides for the following:
Quintin Publications will produce the book (CD) in a timely and professional manner
Quintin Publications will pay the author a Level 3 royalty for each book sold.
All payments are in US funds and are distributed quarterly in April, July, October and January.
Author receives 5 free copies of each book and is allowed to purchase additional copies at our normal wholesale price.
Many genealogists often write their family history which is a result
of a lifetime of research. While these books are very well
written and interesting their appeal is mainly for close members of
the family and do not normally enjoy a wide circulation. While
Quintin Publications would like to publish these we simply cannot
afford to do this. We can, however, offer a professional service
of printing
and binding your book at a very reasonable cost.
